Creative Workshop – Understanding Participants’ Needs

CREATIVE ACTIVITY INFORMATION

We are a group of 4 women: Stef, Sammi, Ellie & Tracy. We are currently studying at the University of Gloucestershire. The creative workshop we will hold is Rock Painting. All materials will be provided; no previous skill or experience is required. We will show examples and offer creative assistance if you so wish. Coffee, tea, and biscuits will be on offer. The workshop will last approximately 1.5 hours. In the workshop, we would like you to experience coming together and belonging through this creative activity. 

The Rock Painting event is part of a wider campaign named “I Am Here”, which is about people identifying as women reclaiming our space, being heard, being seen, and saying we matter, through a small creative act. This is both a physical and digital movement defined by the hashtag #IAMHERE across social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter. These platforms will include images of the painted rocks with your consent (no participants will ever be photographed). It is important to note that all participants will remain anonymous across all platforms.
