AD7800 - Unity

There are different communities around the world, all having their own beliefs and understanding of what life is.

Hidden off the beaten track are eco-communities that want to stay secluded, away from the mundane, creating a more sustainable way of living. My focus for this project is one such sustainable eco-community, Coed Hills, situated in the Vale of Glamorgan, close to where I live.

Coed Hills Rural Art Space is simply, 

“A group of people embracing the new and old in order to lead a more sustainable existence, both ecologically and socially”

‘UNITY’ will bring together research and visual elements of the growing community of Coed Hills. This will provide an understanding of what life is like there and how if we so wish, we can incorporate sustainability into our own lives and why we should take sustainability more seriously.
